Hipppeastrum ‚Aphrodite‘ – Hippeastrum ‚Aphrodite‘

Gekauft habe ich die Zwiebel unter dem Namen  ‚Aphrodite‘, aber diese sollte gefüllt, etwas rosa-weiß  und nicht ungefüllt weiß mit Grün sein. Aber sie schaut trotzdem sehr schön aus. Wenn ich sie wiedersehe wird sie verblüht sein.
I bought the bulb under the name ‘Aphrodite’, but this one should be a double with a little bit rose-white and not with green. But nevertheless she looks beautiful. When I will see her, she will be faded.

Kalender, Kalender – Calendar, calendar

Tradition im Hause Braunelle ist, daß der Wiesenmanager Kalender konzipiert hat, die ausgedruckt werden.

It is tradition in the house Braunelle, that the meadow-manager designs calendars, which are print off.
Einer zeigt die Ausstellung und das Schloß und Burg Neuhaus.

 

In der Burg Neuhaus – liegt im Mühlviertel - gab es eine tolle Textilausstellung im Rahmen eines Symposium des ETN (European Textil Network). Das Schloß bzw. die Burg thront hoch über der Donau. Die Burg ist nicht öffentlich zugänglich  und wurde für die Ausstellung auf ‚Vordermann‘ gebracht. Das werdet ihr später in einem (hoffentlich) späteren Post sehen.

One of them is about the exhibition in palace and castle Neuhaus. In the castle Neuhaus - which is in Mühlviertel – was an excellent textile exhibition as part of a symposium of ETN (European Textile Network).  The palace respectively the castle is high enthroned over the river Danube.  Normally you cannot visit the castle, but for the exhibition it was whipped to shape. This you will see at a later post (hopefully).

Dann zwei Ausstellungen in Wien.

Then two exhibitions in Vienna.  

Die eine betraf Koloman Moser,  der auch zur Wiener Secession gehörte. Er zeichnete, malte, entwarf Möbel und Schmuckstücke usw. usw.
One of them was related to Koloman Moser, who belonged to the Vienna Secession. He drew, painted, designed furniture, jewellery and so on and so on.

Die zweite Ausstellung betraf das Kopftuch.

The second exhibition was related to the headscarf.

Und schließlich und endlich – auch im Mühlviertel – die letztährige oberösterreichische Landesgartenschau in Aigen.
And finally and at the end - also in the Mühlviertel – last year’s state horticultural show of Upper Austria in Aigen.

Schönes Neues Jahr – Happy New Year

 

Auch wenn verspätet wünsche ich allen ein schönes Neues Jahr.

Also, if it is a little bit late, I wish all a happy New Year. 
Mit Gesundheit, Glück, Frieden (zumindest Waffenruhe), kein Terror in allen Ländern dieser Welt, und jeder sollte ein Dach über den Kopf haben sowie ein Auskommen zum Leben.
With health, happiness, peace (at least truce), no  terror all over the world and everybody should have a dry and warm home as well a livelihood for a living.
Leider sind die nächsten Konflikte schon vorprogrammiert.
Unfortunately the next conflicts are inevitable.
Aber bei dem heutigen Sonnenschein und diesem Bild der Ruhe sollte man optimistisch sein.
