Unser Garten Anfang Juni - our garden at the beginning of June

Hier mal einige Bilder vom Garten Anfang Juni.
Here some pictures of our garden at the beginning of June. This year all is growing high. I have to cut a lot. Thanks goodness there is a master of the chopper waiting. But at the moment there is an accumulation, because the chopper has to be mended

I love the many insects and wild bees on the plants – but not all e.g. not the red lily beetle.

The brook thistle (cirsium rivulare) is one of my favourite thistles – unfortunately on withering.

Schwalbenschanz – swallowtail

At Easter time we saw one (or maybe more – but we only saw one at a time) swallowtail fluttering in the dill and Florence fennel. And at the beginning of June we discovered nine caterpillars. In the meantime they are not here any more. We don’t know were the go for pupation.

The monster dill and the Florence fennel were planted in the raised bed by the meadow manager. I didn’t attend this action. So they are so high, you can’t see the umbels. But anyway, we don’t eat them – they are planted only for the
animals.

Gärtnerei Müller und Pfützner – nursery Müller and Pfützner

After our first holiday in Austria in April we had to visit the nursery Müller and Pfützner.
Im Eingang blüht die Glyzinie.
In the entrance the wisteria is flowering.

There are some fine planted troughs – made by Thomas Pfützer.

In seinem ‚Steingartenbeet’ blüht der Seidelbast.
In his ‘rock garden plot’ the daphne is flowering.

Also he discovered the wild bees and created some insect hotels against housing shortage.

Und auch sonst ist alles schön dekoriert.
And as well all is nice decorated.

Der Stuhl hat es mir angetan. Man sitzt darauf auch sehr bequem.
I liked the chair. It is quite comfortable.

Blogpause unfreiwillig – break of the blog unintentionally

In April I was some days in Austria – first to get some information about ‚Schüssler Salze’ and second to stir self made cosmetics. Thereby I lost – because of some not so successful ‘Family days’ – my inner balance. So I tried to find it again and travelled to Austria again. (By the way I visited some gardens there as well.) Now I am again to build up. I know this is moaning on a high level.
But as usual we had a rest at the end of the holidays at the nursery ‘Augustin’. At the second time, I didn’t take any photos – I was simply to lazy.

I have only one dove – a gift from the meadow-manager. It was  already expansive enough. .

But I will – also if only for me – write, what I undertook in April, Mai and June.
