Geplanter Urlaub ungeplant – planned holidays unplanned

Wir sind wieder in meine Heimat gefahren, weil ich wie üblich einen Kurs besucht hatte (‚Wildkräuterküche  im  Sommer‘). Gleichzeitig kümmere ich mich da um meine Mutter, obwohl wir ein schwieriges Verhältnis haben.
We visited my homeland, because I attended as usual a course (cooking with edible wild herbs in summer). At the same time I take care of my mother, although we have an uneasy relationship.
Also habe ich schon geplant, was wir mit ihr unternehmen könnten. Nur sie fiel hin und mußte mit Gehirnerschütterung ins Krankenhaus. Mit 93 Jahren ist das natürlich alles nicht so leicht. So waren unsere Tage etwas zerrissen mit Besuch und Organisation.
So I planned what I could undertake with her. But unfortunately she fell over and had to go to hospital with a mild concussion. At the age of 93 this is not so easy. So our days were filled with visits and organizations etc.
Aber wir haben doch einiges unternommen. So haben wir Schloß Mühlgrub besucht, wo es Dinge gibt, die man unbedingt haben muß, die man  nicht braucht. Natürlich habe ich da auch etwas gefunden.
But nevertheless we undertook something. So we visited castle Mühlgrub, where you get things you must have also if you don’t need them. Of course I found something.
