Nein, das ist nicht die Herbstwiese in
unserem Garten, das ist eine Wiese in einem Ortsteil von Dillenburg.
No, this is not the meadow in autumn in our garden; it
is a meadow in a district of Dillenburg.
Eigentlich bin ich kein Freund von
organisierten Reisen – aber diesmal ging es nicht anders. Um zu sehen, wie
Pralinen in einer Manufaktur hergestellt werden, sind Gruppen ab 8 Personen
notwendig. Also machten wir eine
Seniorenfahrt unserer Gemeinde mit.
(Ich habe bei Tortissimo schon an
einem Pralinenkurs teilgenommen (in
diesem Geschäft gingen mir die Augen über, was es für Privatpersonen alles gibt
und welche Kurse abgehalten werden). )
Wir besuchten die Firma ‚Läderach’ mit
Sitz in der Schweiz, die in Dillenburg unter den Namen ‚Marc Antoine’ und in
Rumänien unter den Namen ‚Heidi’ produzieren lässt. Es wird alles aus der Schweiz geliefert. Die
Schokolade in flüssiger Form wird angeliefert, und hier noch verfeinert. Selbst
die Formen werden von der Schweiz bezogen und anschließend – nach mehrmaligem
Gebrauch – zur Reinigung in die Schweiz geschickt. Es wird bereits viel mit Maschinen
gearbeitet, aber das Verpacken erfolgt immer noch mit Hand. Ebenso erfolgen manche
Verzierungen mit der Hand. Die Mitarbeiter werden aber immer nur Stundenweise
für eine Betätigung eingesetzt – damit es nicht zu langweilig wird. Man konnte
die Mitarbeiter fragen. Eigentlich ist so eine Führung viel zu kurz bzw. die
Gruppe war viel zu groß. Ich würde gerne nochmals so eine Führung machen. Auf
der Heimfahrt fielen mir schon wieder viele Fragen ein.

(I attended already a class for making chocolates at Tortissimo (in this shop I saw such a lot of things. I never thought, that these are available for private persons and also classes exist for ordinary people).)

All is delivered from Switzerland. The chocolate is delivered in liquid form and will be refined in Dillenburg. Also the chocolate moulds are redelivered – after some uses – to Switzerland for cleaning. A lot of production is done by machine, but much of the packaging is still done by hand. Also some garnishment is made manual. The employees are working at a workplace only some hours and then they change to another work area – because otherwise it would be too tiring. It was possible to ask the staff. But the time of such a guided tour is too short respectively to many people were in the group. I would like to do such a tour again. On the journey home so many questions came in my mind.
Anschließend das Wichtigste des Tages:
Mittagessen. Als Vegetarier mussten wir nicht in die Masse, sondern wir konnten
abseits sitzen. So konnten wir anschließend einen kleinen Spaziergang machen.

Es gab noch eine Stadtführung, durchgeführt von einem CDU-Stadtverordneten. Zumindest
bekamen wir einen groben Einblick von Dillenburg. Da es regnete, gingen wir
nicht mehr auf eigene Faust durch Dillenburg, sondern suchten lieber ein Cafe
auf.
In the city of Dillenburg we attended a guided tour, which was held by a town councillor. So we had at least a rough review of Dillenburg. Because it was raining afterwards we didn’t explore the town by ourselves. We decided to have coffee.
