Urlaubsfahrt nach Österreich im Mai und im Juli – holiday journey to Austria in May and July

Im Mai verlief die Fahrt - für uns jedenfalls - ohne Zwischenfälle. Den Stau haben wir  rechtzeitig umfahren. Ich fahre gerne Bundesstraßen und auch durch Würzburg fahren, macht Spaß. In Vornbach am Inn haben wir wie üblich Rast gemacht. In der Bäckerei etwas gegessen, zum Inn dann gegangen
The journey in May was – for us - without any interruption. We could bypass a traffic jam in time. I like to drive A-roads and also to drive through Würzburg is fun for me. As usual we had a rest in Vornbach at the Inn. So we had a nice meal in the bakery and afterwards we went to the (river) Inn 

 und nach einigem Überlegen habe ich doch wieder bei Büchern zugeschlagen, die es übrigens in der Bäckerei zu kaufen gibt. 
and after some thinking I decided to buy some books, which is possible to buy in the bakery.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Das Buch über die Milch ist sehr interessant (sehr schöne Bilder). Im andere Buch sind viele Einrichtungsanregungen.

The book about the milk is quite interesting (beautiful pictures). And the other book has many ideas for interiors.

Im Quartier haben wir es uns erst mal gemütlich bei einer Jausen mit Ausblick gemacht.
In our accommodation we made ourselves at home with a snack with nice view.

Auch im Juli verlief die Fahrt - ebenfalls für uns  - ohne Zwischenfälle. Der Stau war in der Gegenrichtung. Bei der Hitze nicht wirklich ein Vergnügen. Diesmal gab es keine Rast in Vornbach am Inn – sondern es ging ins Mühlviertel nach Haslach zum Campingplatz an der Großen Mühl.
Allerdings auf der Rückfahrt haben wir Rast in Vornbach gemacht – die Gärtnerin braucht einmal am Tag einen ordentlichen Kaffee oder Espresso. Und ich habe auch wieder bei den Büchern zugeschlagen. Kann mich einfach nicht beherrschen – habe auch schon mit der Besitzerin ‚geschimpft’.
Also in July the journey was – also for us – without any interruption. The traffic jam was this time in the opposite direction. In the heat not a pleasure at all.  This time there was no rest in Vornbach at the Inn. We drove directly in Mühlviertel – to the camping place in Haslach. However on the journey back home, we had a rest in Vornbach – the head-gardener needed - once in a day – a nice cup of coffee or espresso. And I bought a book again. Eine Woche Schlierbach/Oberösterreich – one week Schlierbach in upper austria

Meine Mutter hatte einen runden Geburtstag. So haben wir spontan beschlossen, doch zu fahren (normal kommt da meine Schwester mit Anhang). Aber wir hatten eine Unterkunft im Ökodorf gebucht, die einerseits schön war und andererseits für uns angenehm. Es gab – neben der Zentralheizung- auch einen Holzofen, für den auch Holz bereitgestellt wurde. Hier ein Eindruck vom Quartier.
My mother had a milestone birthday. So we decided spontaneously to travel (normally my sister with family is coming). But we booked an accommodation in the ‘Ökodorf’, which was on one hand quite nice and on the other hand also good for us. There was – beside of the central heating – a wood burning stove as well. Leider war alles weiß und kalt. So hatte ich keine Lust viel zu fotografieren.

Am ersten Morgen sind wir mit Schnee aufgewacht.

Unfortunately all was white and cold. So I didn’t like to take a lot of pictures. The first morning we awaked by snow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Einige Tage später war das Wetter annehmbarer und wir sind in die Nachbarstadt Kirchdorf an der Krems gewandert – durch den Wald.

Also nicht so viel zu sehen, außer Holzhaufen.
Some days later the weather changed a little bit and we walked to the next village ‘Kirchdorf an der Krems’ – through the forest. Therefore there is few to look at – only woodpiles.

 

Und zum Schluss noch die Grenze zur Nachbargemeinde.

And at the end you see the border to the neighbouring community.
