Belinda lud wieder zu ihrer Adventsausstellung ein. Da das Wetter im Rhein-Main-Gebiet vielversprechend sonnig war, machten wir uns auf die ‚lange’ Reise. Allerdings wurde es im Hunsrück immer kälter und  wolkiger. Aber es hat sich ausgezahlt, da hinzufahren. Erst mal um Belinda wieder zu sehen. Und auch ihren neuen Mops. Die tobten ganz schön rum.
Und ich habe mein erstes Weihnachtsgeschenkchen bekommen.
Belinda invited to the usual ‘Adventsausstellung’. As the weather looks very nice in the Rhein-Main-Country looked sunny, we decided to make the ‘long’ journey in the Hunsrück. But there it was getting cold and cloudier. But it was nice to travel there. First of all, to see Belinda again and then to see her new carlin. Both carlins ramped quite a lot.
And I received my first Christmas gift.

Über den Blog ‚Vintage Rose’  bin ich letztes Jahr auf Belinda’s Garten gestoßen und wir hatten ihn sofort besucht. Leider hat ein Besuch dieses Jahr aufgrund eines Schneefalls, Arbeit im eigenen Garten usw.  nicht geklappt. Aber diesmal war er dick im Kalender eingetragen, und das Wetter hat auch mitgespielt. Außerdem musste ich mir unbedingt ihr Buch ‚Mein shabby Garten – Weiß Wohnen im Grünen’ – mit Widmung – besorgen. Danke liebe Belinda für die schöne Widmung, und daß Du nicht – wie der Wiesenmanager bemerkte – das Buch umgeschrieben hast. Es ist sowohl Buch als auch Widmung sehr schön.

Der Kuchen war sehr gut, obwohl - diesmal war er nicht von Nelson vorgekostet. Der hatte zur Scheune strenges Zutrittsverbot – auch sonst war er nicht zu sehen. Vielleicht solltest Du als nächstes ein ‚Kuchenbuch’ in Angriff nehmen (grins).
Aber nun die Fotos von Deinem herrlichen Garten.
Due to  the blog ‚Vintage Rose’ I took notice of the garden of Belinda, which we had to visit immediately. Unfortunately, this year we couldn’t visit because of snow, or work in our garden and so on. But this time I entered the date in my calendar very thick and also the weather was fine. I also had to buy her book ‘Mein shabby Garten – Weiß Wohnen im Grünen’ – with personal dedication. Thanks a lot dear Belinda for your nice dedication. And that you didn’t – how the meadow manager commented – rewrite the book. Both the book and the dedication are really lovely.
The cakes were – as always – excellent, also if Nelson didn’t taste them in advance. I think he had strict order not to enter the barn – by the way I saw him only once. Maybe you should write a book with receipts of cakes (grins).

Adventsstimmung im Cottage-Garden – Adventstimmung in Cottage-Garden

Im Blog Vintage Rose  wurde zur Adventsstimmung eingeladen. Den Blog kenne ich schon längere Zeit – da habe ich noch nicht geblogt. Und letztes Jahr haben wir dann den Garten der Besitzer im Rahmen der ‚offenen Gartenpforte im Hunsrück’ entdeckt. Leider wusste ich nicht mehr, wo denn dieser Garten liegt, aber da mir Belinda die Adresse per Email mitgeteilt hat, lag es nur an uns, hinzufahren. Es war sehr stürmisch und ich hatte wirklich Angst, daß vielleicht umgefallene Baumstämme unseren Ausflug behindern könnten. Aber wir sind gut angekommen und herzlich begrüßt worden. Der Stollen war übrigens vorzüglich  - das hatte schon Mops Nelson bewiesen. Und das neues ‚Häuschen’ ist mir auch gleich aufgefallen. Nur schade, daß es so windig und kühl war. Aber die Sonne hat sich am Nachmittag dann doch noch blicken lassen. 

Der Ausflug zu der Adventsstimmung hat sich auf alle Fälle gelohnt.

In the blog Vintage Rose there was an invitation for ‘Adventsstimmung’. I know this blog since a long time – at this time I didn’t blog. In summer last year we discovered the garden of the blog-owner in context with the event ‘open gardens in Hunsrueck”. Unfortunately I forgot where the garden is, but Belinda was so nice to email the address. So it was our part to travel there. It was quite stormy and I was really frighten, that we had to interrupt the journey because of fallen trees.  But we arrived healthy and had a warm welcome. The stollen tasted exquisite – this demonstrated mops Nelson already. And a newly built hut I realised at once. Too bad, that it was quite breezy and chilly. But the sun was shining at least in the afternoon. In any case  the trip to the ‘Adventsstimmung’  was worth wile.
