Der Garten letzte Woche – the garden last week

Diesmal habe ich vor der Arbeit zum Fotoapparat gegriffen. Einiges ist in der Zwischenzeit bereits verblüht.

Letzte Woche im Garten – last week in the garden

Letzte Woche war das Wetter so schön, daß ich gar nicht mehr damit rechnete,  es könnte nochmals kalt werden und Schnee fallen. Da ich viel im Gartenzu tun hatte, habe ich nicht viele Fotos gemacht. Nur am Montag hatte ich etwas Zeit, da der Boden am Vormittag noch gefroren war – ich war voll Schaffensdrang zu früh da.
Last week the weather was so beautiful, that I didn’t reckon that it will be cold again and that it will snow. I had a lot to do in the garden, therefore I only took few pictures on Monday, because there the earth was frozen, when I arrived – to soon because of my great work urge. 

(kein) Sonnenschein und (kein) Schnee – (no) sunshine and (no) snow

Derzeit sind alle Kombinationen möglich, wobei Sonnenschein sehr rar ist. Leider. Der Januar soll der dunkelste Januar seit weiß Gott wie viele Jahre.  Aber so muß man den Sonnenschein ausnutzen, auch wenn nicht immer alles so schön ist – siehe die Schuhe.

At the moment all combinations are possible, although the sunshine is quite rare, unfortunately. The January was the darkest January since many years - God only knows. So it’s a must to use the sunshine, also if not all is nice – see the shoes.  

Aber man sollte das schöne sehen. Der Frühling ist nicht mehr aufzuhalten.

But someone has to see the beautiful things. Spring cannot slow down any more.

Sogar die Leberblümchen fangen schon zu blühen an.
Also the pennywort begins to flower.

Dieses Moos öffnet sich nur bei Sonnenschein.
This moss is only to see at sunshine.  



Winterlinge – meine Lieblinge  

Winter aconites – my favourites.

Das Hornveilchen hat sich den Platz selbst ausgesucht, das Geranium fängt auch schon an zu treiben, selbst die Krokusse in der Wiese blühen schon.
The viola has chosen its own place, the geranium is beginning to sprout, and also the crocuses in the meadow are flowering.   

Der Maulwurf trifft die Vorbereitung, seinen Nebenbuhler zu vertreiben – derzeit noch in Nachbars Garten.

The mole is preparing for chasing his rival in love - at the moment in the garden of the neighbour.  


Und auch unser Wintergast genießt die Sonne.
And also our guest during the wintertime is enjoying the sunshine.

Bald bekommt er Besuch von den Libellen.

Soon he will have visits from the dragonflies.
