Letztes Jahr habe ich zum Kalenderblatt Gärten im Februar erwähnt, daß wir einen Besuch der Schneeglöckchentage in derGärtnerei Boschhoeve geplant haben. Und nicht nur geplant, sondern auch gemacht haben.
Last year I mentioned in the calendar sheet of February that we planned a visit to the snowdrop days in the nursery of Boschhoeve. And not only planned, but we also did it. 

Ich bin immer ganz begeistert von diesem Garten und zwar zu jeder Jahreszeit. In der großen Scheune gibt es Verkaufsstände mit Pflanzen, Samen und Dingen, die man nicht braucht, aber unbedingt haben muss.
I am always delighted with the garden and in fact to all seasons of the year. In the big barn there a stalls with plants, seeds and things you have to have also if you don’t need it.

Da es kalt war, man sieht es auch am Schnee, wurde dem Gründer des Hofes ein Schal verpaßt,

Because it was cold – you will see it at the snow – the founder of the farm got a shawl

ebenso den Bäumen
also the trees

sowie dem Taubenhaus.
and also the dovecote.

Hier werden dann im Frühjahr Vergissmeinnicht oder Veilchen eingesetzt.
Here in spring they will plant forget-me-not or violets.

Die Treibtöpfe warten schon auf ihren Einsatz.
The forcers are waiting for their use.

Das letzte Gemüse ist noch zur Ernte bereit.
The last vegetable is ready for harvest.

Und überall sind schöne Sachen arrangiert.
And everywhere are beautiful things are arranged.

Urlaub im April (Teil 6) die Heimreise – holidays in April (part 6) going back to home

Abschied vom Campingplatz in Ursum. War schön dort. Unterwegs fing der Regen an. Über den Damm, der über das Ijsselmeer führt, ging es aufs ,Festland’.
We said farewell to the camping site in Ursum. It was beautiful there. In the meantime it began to rain. Over the dyke, this leads over the Ijsselmeer, on the ‘mainland’.
In Lemmer Pause gemacht, das letzte Mal Schleusen gesehen.
In Lemmer we had a rest and saw the last time a sluice.

 Den Campingplatz bei Doesburg erreicht. Da waren wir bestimmt vor 8 oder 9 Jahren einmal. Aber unsere Adresse war gespeichert – leider nicht das Jahr. Abends dann den nächsten Gasthof für das ‚Abendbier’ – haben wir uns in Ursum angewöhnt – gesucht. Gefunden haben wir etwas – aber es war abschreckend. In Ursum war alles sauber, die Bedienung war nett – jeder hat seine Englisch- oder Deutschkenntnisse an uns ausprobiert. Einmal gab es auch ein ‚Anfängerbier’ – das richtige Zapfen musste gelernt werden.
We arrived at the camping site near Doesburg. 8 or 9 years ago we were here, but our address was still available – unfortunately not the year. In the evening we were looking for a pub for our ‘evening pint’ – we got into the habit of this in Ursum – and found one. But it was deterring. In Ursum all was neat, the service was friendly – they tested their skill in speaking German and/or English. On one occasion we got a ‘pint of beginners’ – to learn the correct drawing of a pint.
Aber auch Doesburg ist eine schöne Stadt, und wir haben hier einen Tag genossen.
But also Doesburg is a lovely city and we enjoyed a lovely day there.

Wir besuchten wieder die kleinste Stadt der Niederland nämlich Bronkhorst.
We visited the smallest town of Netherland – Bronkhorst.

 Sieht der Hahn (Spanier) nicht stattlich aus?
Doesn’t look cook (a Spaniard) impressive?

Anschließend wollten wir in Hummelo die Gärtnerei von Piet Oudolf besuchen. War zu. Dafür gab es – leider – ein Geschäft mit Dingen, die man unbedingt haben muß, aber eigentlich nicht braucht und auch noch Geld kosten. Eigentlich hätte ich ein vorher-nachher Bild machen müssen.
Afterwards we wanted to visit Hummelo to see the nursery of Piet Oudolf. It was closed. But – unfortunately – there was a shop with items you absolutely must have, but you actually don’t need them and furthermore they cost money. I should have done a picture before, so it is the picture after (the purchase).
Dann hatte ich ein Haus ‚Kasteelblik’ gesehen und das Kasteel gesucht und sind auf einen Rundgang gestoßen mit Kunstwerken.
Then I saw a house ‘Kasteelblik’ and after looking for the Kasteel we entered a circular path with works of art. But it was gorgeous. A Hungarian took the opportunity to speak with us in a perfect German – nobody knew, that he spoke German at all. Furthermore we spoke in English, Dutch, and Netherlandish as well with hands.

Ja und dann waren wir wieder zu Hause.
And then we were at home again.
Die Rückbank im Auto war auch voll.
The back seat of the car was fulled up as well.
