Schneeglöckchentag in Oirlich –snowdrop day in Oirlich

Unser letzter Besuch in Oirlich liegt schon zwei Jahre zurück. Es war immer ziemlich voll und die Parkplatz gab es kaum. Wir hatten allerdings einen Platz im Ort gefunden –20 Minuten Fußmarsch. Aber irgendwie war das schön. Der Markt ist nun  verlegt worden. Wir aber behielten  unseren ‚Privatparkplatz‘ bei. Der Fußmarsch war diesmal erholsamer – kaum Verkehr auf dem Weg

Two years ago it was our last visit of the snowdrop day in Oirlich. It was always crowded and to get a parking place was difficult. Nevertheless we always had a nice parking place in the village – within a walk of 20 minutes. As the market is now transmitted to another place we decided a try this year again. The weather was nice, we had ‘our’ parking place again, and this year only a few passing cars disturbed our walk .
Eingekehrt sind wir zuerst im Garten, in dem früher der Markt stattfand.  Es gab da einen kleinen  Flohmarkt und auch Schneeglöckchen wurden verkauft –keine Raritäten dafür mit schönen Namen ‚vor dem Zaun‘. Wir tauften sie bei uns in ‚Zaunhasen‘ um.
First we visited the garden, where the market was held the years before. There was a little flea market and also snowdrops were sold – nothing special, but with a lovely name ‘in the front of the garden fence’. We will rename  them  as  ‘fencerabbit’. 

 
Anschließend spazierten wir zum Pflanzenmarkt. Es gab noch immer viel zu sehen (und zu kaufen) – auch wenn der Hauptansturm schon vorbei war. Und dann kam auch wieder die Sonne heraus.
Afterwards we walked to the market. There was still a lot to see (and to buy) – also when the main rush was over. And then also the sun was shining again.
