Basel -Stadt - Basel Town

 

Am Wochenende waren wir in Basel. Wie die Amerikaner geben wir Geld aus, um eine Freifahrt für eine einfache Fahrt  für den Begleiter auszunutzen. Aber ich sehe das als herrlichen Ausflug an. Außerdem wollte ich ins Museum der Kulturen zur Ausstellung ‚Schimmernde Alltagskleider - Indigo, Glanz & Falten’. 

On Saturday we travelled to Basel. Like the American, we spent money to trade on a free single ticket for one companion. But I see this as a delightful excursion. On the other hand, I wanted to go to the ‘Museum der Kulturen’ to the exhibition ‘Schimmernde Alltagskleider – Indigo, Glanz  & Falten’.

Die Häuser in der Schweiz sind immer schön begrünt - In Switzerland houses are always covered with plants.

Auch die Hinterhöfe/Dachgärten zeigen viel grün. - Also the back yards/roof gardens show much green.
